I Lost It!!!

Which one of these beauties went missing?

I bought all three of these items, plus a few other things, on the same day. It was a few weeks back. I took all three along with me to my parents' house overnight. I used all three of those items. Only one of those items has not been used since.

Where did you go?

My lips are hydrated.
I used the "Mystery Product" in my last video here.

Where is my shower scrub?!?!?!? I have looked EVERYWHERE and cannot find it. I even checked the bathroom at my parents' house yesterday and it is not there. I only got to use it once and it smelled like a tropical getaway. But I didn't have any lotion or body butter to lock in the moisture to get a real feel for how effective (or not) it was. Where is my tropical getaway spa day at home I had planned? Lost in space. . . . or my closet.

What is a girl to do?

Continue searching?

Repurchase?

Ugh. . . .

Shower Time

Why is it that when showering before work it never seems long enough yet when on vacation showers seem to be an inconvenience? (Or is that just my own personal problem?) All in all, when there's nothing but time I love a good shower! Baths. . . . well I have some issue with those as well. In the summer it feels weird (and HOT!) to sit in a hot bath when all I want is a refreshing cool shower, yet in the winter a hot bath always seems to cool too quickly leaving me desperate to get out and into multiple layers of warm clothes.

This is very similar to my season envy: wanting winter in the summer and summer in the winter. However, I really love my bath and shower products. One of the few errands I really enjoy is buying shower stuff.

Normally I like to post photos of the products I'm going to talk about, but I don't want to ruin the surprise! So instead I will begin with the video and look below for detailed info.

Featured products:
  • Dove bar soap (White or Unscented)
    • About $8.00 for 8 bars found here
  • Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish
    • $18.00 found here
    • To read about the body scrub I mention in the video, click here
  • Bic Silky Touch Razors (10 pack)
    • Found at Walmart, in the video I say it's about 2 bucks, and I can't remember exactly. At Walmart.com its listed as $5.28 but I am certain I've never spent that much in store.
  • Gillette Satin Care shave gel
    • Between $2 and $3, found here, and this is the scent I was talking about!
  • The Body Shop Exfoliating Skin Towel (the body polisher I talked about)
  • Caress Silkening Body Wash
    • About $2.50, but you can purchase in a 2 pack here
I put links so that if you want to purchase online, you can. I personally like to look at products online and buy them in-store so that I know what I'm looking for when I go out shopping. Plus I don't like paying for shipping and most times when I need to replenish something I only need one or two things at a time. Either way, you have access to what you're looking for if you'd like to purchase any of these products. Enjoy!

Day 2 of Buzzing Beauty Gifts

The greatest thing I can do for my skin in the winter is exfoliate and moisturize! The cold winter wind wreaks havoc on my skin leaving it dry and crackly. A perfect gift to add to your beauty lover's stocking is The Body Shop's Vineyard Peach Cream Body Scrub.

The Body Shop also has other scents available: Shea, Cocoa Butter, Sweet Lemon, Olive, Moringa, Pink Grapefruit, Mango, and Coconut. I prefer the Vineyard Peach (peach is one of my favorite smells!) and The Body Shop has all of the scents available in testers so that you can open them up, smell them and even test them out on your hand. It is found at your nearest The Body Shop store (found in malls) or http://www.thebodyshop.com

This is a creamy exfoliating scrub that will whisk away dead skin cells leaving your skin smooth. It smells AMAZING like a fresh peach and the grains in the scrub are tough enough to get rid of grime and grit without harming your skin. Use this scrub in the shower with warm water. Apply a generous amount (I use about the size of a ping pong ball for my whole body) to wet skin and rub in circular motions. I apply this to my arms, stomach and legs including armpits and feet (by far the driest part of the body). Exfoliate before shaving for the closest shave possible.

Important tip: You must moisturize after using a scrub in the shower. Your skin is sensitive at this point and needs to be drenched in moisture. You can use a body lotion cream, or body butter to moisturize.

But more on that tomorrow. . .
That's the buzz!
