Happy Birthday. . . to ME!!!

I'm 28 years old today!

I had such a great day spent with my family chatting, laughing, eating and spending quality time together.

Some Highlights:

• Making French toast with my nieces
• Doing a puzzle with my brother
• Getting phone calls from some of my closest friends
• Dancing in the dining room
• Early morning church service

I made a quick video just sharing a little bit about my day.

Thank you to everyone who took a moment out of their day to wish me a happy birthday. I really appreciate it!

Makeup look




I'm no twin. . . but I'll makeup like one!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are talented, gorgeous, and have a very distinct look. For my birthday makeup I'm looking for something special, a little sophisticated maybe, a little playful maybe. . . who knows! This is why I'm trying out several looks before the big day. While enjoying some makeup tutorials on YouTube last night I came across this video from Pixiwoo and was instantly inspired to try it myself!

I really loved this look, and I'm glad I made it darker at the end.  Here are the products that I used:

It's your birthday?!?!

Not quite. . .

But it is about that time. Time to start trying out makeup looks, that is!

Here is my first of many trials for what will be on my face the night I turn 28! I'm also thinking about wearing past party dresses and revisiting former makeup looks, but we'll see about that.
